Urinary Incontinence

Involuntary loss of bladder control can range from a tiny leakage of urine to complete loss of urinary control.

There are a multitude of causes, ranging from emotional (i.e. anxiety) to aftereffects from giving birth to simply a weakened bladder from aging.

Exercises, such as Kegel, should be part of a daily regime. Coffee, alcohol, and smoking can deteriorate an existing condition.

Chinese Medicine theory differentiates several potential causes from lack of Qi (Energy) to a Yang deficiency. Typically, electro acupuncture and moxa (warming of specific acupuncture points) are indicated.
