Rose - Queen of Flowers

Roses are beautiful, their scent is unique, sweet, enticing and can be quite powerful.

Did you know that a rose’s scent is stronger in the mornings? So that’s when you should pick your rose buds for a tea (or for extracting oil).

In Chinese Herbal Medicine, rose bud tea regulates the Qi (Energy). Whenever energy seems to not be moving within your body, be it related many things from to digestive symptoms to PMS, the softly moving energy of rose buds may give your body the necessary ‘kick start’.

Rose tea tastes delicious and if you have organically grown roses in your own garden, you can use your own rose petals. You can blend them with black, green or white tea according to your preferences.

Pour boiling water over the petals, sit back – and relax 😊
